Overview

In this role you will perform service site activities on transformers, following Hitachi Energy processes and safety standards. You will deliver quality customer service, identify new service opportunities, and work closely with customers and teams to ensure high reliability. You will diagnose issues on-site or remotely, perform installation, commissioning and routine maintenance, and contribute to safety and operational improvements. This is a hands‑on position with travel across Italy, offering exposure to challenging technical projects and meaningful impact on customers and operations.

Job Duties

- Installation and commissioning of transformer equipment
- Routine maintenance and oil treatment tasks
- Low voltage testing at site and electrical cabling for new accessories/digital devices
- Identify technical problems and perform on‑site or remote analysis
- Coordinate materials,



parts and subcontractors for service activities
- Prepare and sign customer documentation; report work performed
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide improvement recommendations
- Promote safety and environmental practices, report unsafe conditions
- Identify and communicate new service opportunities to internal teams

Requirements

- Electrical Technical diploma
- Fluency in Italian and English
- 5+ years of experience in a transformer‑related role
- Willingness to travel 100% within Italy
- Independence and problem solving aptitude
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills
