Job Summary
English Alive is hiring!
Experience Italian culture at its finest and enjoy one week of TEFL teaching in Northern Italy.
Course dates: 31st of August 2026 - 4th of September 2026 (arrival 30th August)
The TEFL teaching is for students aged 11- 13 and is carried out in a school setting.
20 hours of teaching (4 hours per day). This means that you will have free afternoons and evenings to enjoy Italian culture and gelato!
Qualifications
Successful candidates will join an existing and experienced English Alive team.
Qualified (CELTA/Trinity) TEFL teachers - to teach in state schools in Northern Italy.
Teachers that enjoy and are able to work with junior learners & teenagers but can also challenge higher levels.
Teachers who are enthusiastic, energetic, fun loving and can work as part of a team
Teachers who have experience planning their own lessons Teachers who are adaptable
Teachers who are looking for a unique teaching experience abroad
Salary and Benefits
From €340 / week (gross)
≈ £290 / $387

We offer:
340 to 380 euros depending on experience
20 hours of teaching per week Monday to Friday.
The emphasis of the programme is speaking, listening and pronunciation.
Observations and professional development
Lessons are usually held in the morning
Accommodation and food are provided by host families.
Travel to the school The possibility of returning at a later date for those wishing to extend their stay in Italy. (Flights need to be comparable in price.)
