Experteer Overview

In this role you will design and deliver Electrical Designer/Engineer solutions for Engineering-to-Order projects, focusing on power distribution and switchgear for data-center applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet schedule, manufacturability, and cost goals while creating drawings, BOMs, and change orders. You’ll engage with suppliers and application engineering to define feasible, competitive solutions and support prototype and testing activities. This role offers the chance to impact custom power systems at scale within a global company.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Evaluate custom technical requests with the AE team to define feasibility and cost
- Prepare official quotations following ETO guidelines
- Create mechanical and electrical drawings and BOM, specify parts per PLM rules
- Produce submittal drawings for finished designs
- Liaise with sub-suppliers to optimize solutions
- Coordinate with Application Engineering for technical guidance




- Coordinate ETO activities with the Order Processing Center
- Support Factory Witness Tests (FWT) and prototype building
- Develop plans and provide schedule updates
- Collaborate with other engineering functions to define ETO specifications
- Foster productive cross-functional teamwork within the Electrical team and other groups

Responsabilità

- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years of relevant experience with Associate degree OR 15+ years with High School Diploma
- Strong planning, organizing, documentation and communication skills
- Team-oriented; able to work in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with PC and applications (spreadsheets, CAD, word processing)
- Deep knowledge of power switchboards and distribution systems
- Strong knowledge of IEC 62310 (STS) and IEC 60439 (LV switchgear and control gear)
- Knowledge of NEC and UL is a plus
