Overview

The candidate will report to the Head of Engineering and will be responsible for leading the Electrical & Special Systems Design Team, coordinating project activities, and contributing directly to the electrical design of industrial systems for engine and vehicle testing facilities.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Electrical and Special Systems Design Team
- Coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with project objectives
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and resource planning
- Ensure proper implementation of internal processes and engineering standards
- Design electrical and special systems for engine and vehicle testing facilities
- Prepare technical documentation, including technical reports; technical specifications and tender documents; cost estimates and bills of quantities
- Develop electrical single-line diagrams
- Produce layout drawings and system plans
- Perform calculations and system sizing

Profile / Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial plant/electrical system design




- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma as an Electrical Technician
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Solid understanding of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., Low Voltage, EMC, Machinery Directive, ATEX)
- Availability for short business trips within Italy and occasional international travel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Dynamic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- English language knowledge (from good to advanced)

Nice to Have

- Experience with Progetto Integra software
- Experience with DiaLux software
- Experience with Eplan P8
- Experience with TNE software
- Knowledge of Performance Level calculation tools
- Familiarity with PLC-based systems
- Registration to Professional Association

Salary: 30k - 33k
