The Transport Coordinator reporting to the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for transport coordination and its team. **Main Responsibilities**
- Execution of inbound and outbound flows with our transport vendors.
- Execution of intake, outtake (pick/pack) flows with our 3PL warehouses.
- Complaints management with our logistics service providers.
- Advice (spot) quotes, request and administrate spot quotes.
- Execute bookings towards logistic service providers on inbound, outbound flows and intake/outtake flows.
- Administrative bookings towards logistic service providers on inbound, outbound flows and intake/outtake flows via our SAP and TMS (Transport Management System) system.
- Pro-active coordination of day to day logistics responsibilities internal and external.
- First point of contact for 3rd party service provider on behalf of Univar Solutions.
- Be aware and make use of the service deals agreed with Univar Solutions’ logistics service providers.
- Manage recruiting and development of team. **Qualifications and Required Skills**
- Master’s degree in engineering/ Logistics - Supply Chain Management or similar.
- Accurate and diligent in data input and processing.




- Able to take control of situations and drive for solutions.
- Stress resilient and able to create structure for themselves with limited guidance.
- Adaptable and flexible attitude.
- Team player.
- Relevant working experience and knowledge in (chemical) logistics operations (transport and warehouses).
- SAP, TMS (transport management system), Data visualization and business intelligence tool experience will be taken into consideration.
- Fluent level of English (written and spoken).
- Drive quality and cost efficiency (always go for the best and cost reducing solution).
- Process and drive complaints solutions per KPI’s and via SAP complaints management.
- Compliance to all Company procedures (quality, safety and environmental ones), and legislative requirements.
