Experteer Overview

In this role you support Motion Service procurement, coordinating with technical, service, and supply chain teams to secure materials that meet technical and policy requirements. You manage end-to-end purchasing, including PO initiation, order tracking, and supplier collaboration, while ensuring alignment with delivery, cost targets, and ABB policies. You read mechanical and electrical drawings to interpret requests and drive compliant, timely purchases. The position sits within ABB Motion Services, offering cross‑functional impact and opportunities to influence supplier selection and continuous improvement.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Initiate and align purchase orders with approved requisitions and technical specs
- Monitor delivery dates, expediting orders and ensuring PO compliance
- Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Manage end-to-end purchasing, including logistics coordination and handling non-conformities
- Support supplier negotiations on prices, terms, and conditions with internal stakeholders




- Recommend frame agreements based on technical and commercial inputs and support their execution
- Evaluate supplier quotations for best value in cost, quality, and delivery
- Collaborate with Engineering, Service, Quality, Logistics and external suppliers
- Support supplier scouting and qualification activities, improving the supplier base

Responsabilità

- 1–2 years of experience in Purchasing or related functions
- Degree in Engineering or Economics
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Strong analytical skills applied to purchasing and order management
- Understanding of procurement lifecycle from technical interpretation to delivery
- Good communication and negotiation capabilities with internal and external stakeholders
- Structured, precise, solution‑oriented approach
- Fluency in Italian and English; willingness to travel occasionally
