In this Senior Backend role, you drive the technical direction and delivery of complex welfare-payment systems within the Business Team. You will shape multi-service backends that support employer benefits and employee welfare, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable solutions. You’ll own features end-to-end, mentor peers, and uphold high-quality engineering practices. This is a chance to impact everyday payments at scale in a fast-moving FinTech environment.

- Architect and drive multi-service solutions for the Employer domain, focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability
- Ensure technical quality through robust testing, balanced automation/manual coverage, and controlled rollouts
- Anticipate and resolve blockers, share knowledge, and manage challenging B2B registration flows and high-volume agevolazioni allocations
- Own end-to-end delivery from employer signup to employee welfare utilization
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to elevate engineering practices across the team
- Maintain system stability and simplify payments by improving back-end efficiency and regulatory compliance
- Maintain a user-first mindset, ensuring backend decisions translate into a smooth experience for employers and employees
Responsabilità
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Proven experience with microservices, cloud environments, and Agile methodologies
- Deep Java experience and strong understanding of AWS (cloud platforms)
- Technical leadership: analysis for large projects, mentorship, and knowledge sharing
- Structured, professional communication and ability to document technical decisions clearly
- Fluent in English; interest in FinTech/startup environment
