Principal Job Responsibilities

- Define functional requirements and issue operating specifications for architecture and modules.
- Issue detailed specs to support internal realizations or external service requests.
- Develop, test and verify software modules.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad (30%).

Required Education, Qualifications, Experience, and Languages

Education and Qualifications

- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Physics, Mathematics.
- High School: Automation or Electrical Technician or similar.

Languages

- English B1.

Experience

- Graduate with experience in software development activities; metal application experience is appreciated.

IT Skills

- PLC and HMI development projects including safety software (experience in metal applications is appreciated).
- Programming language based on IEC 61131‑3.
- Office Automation Tools (Word,



Excel).
- Operating systems: Microsoft Windows (Windows 7 to Windows Server 2019).
- Relational database: Microsoft SQL, Oracle.
- Communication protocols: Profinet, Profibus, TCP‑IP, OPC, Modbus.
- Networking.
- Electrical sensor.

Technical Skills

- Knowledge of communication system towards Siemens PLC.
- Knowledge of Siemens PLC (Type S/1500, TIA Portal 17/18/19, WinCC with simulator).
- Knowledge of Isagraf RA PLC.
- Industrial SCADA (WinCC, In Touch).
