Your role

We are looking for:

Automation specialist with specific expertise in ABB or Epson robots, Omron or B&R; PLCs, or C# and C++ HMIs.

The candidate must have strong expertise in one of these three areas and the flexibility and willingness to develop skills in at least one of the other two.

The candidate must be able to manage a project independently, starting with design support, both on the functional and safety sides, and handle machine commissioning during both the development phase and the on-site commissioning phase at the customer’s site.





They must be able to follow guidelines within a technical team and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.

They must also be able to collaborate effectively with all GEARS teams and share their expertise.

Main responsibilities:

- Start up,Installation, testing,ramp-upand debugof automated systems
- Definition of PLCor Robot orC#/C++technical requirements and specifications
- PLC Software Development
- Robot Software Development
- HMI Software Development

Main requirements:

- Good knowledge of industrial automation. 4-6years’ experience
- Expert or basic knowledgeof OmronandB&R; PLC programming software
- Expert or basic knowledgeofABB and Epsonprogramming software
- Expert or basic knowledgeofC#/C++ and Scada/HMIprogramming software
- Knowledge of machinery/safety directives related to software development (CE / UL certification)
- Analytical skills andproblem-solvingattitude
- Attitudefor practical and manual work
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Attitudeforcontinuousimprovement
- Ability to work in a team

**IMPORTANT Of the three areas of expertise listed above, candidates must beExpertin at least one of them and have a basic understanding of another of the two.





The candidate must be able to work in at least two of the three major programming languages listed.

They must be someone who can develop into a multidisciplinaryprofessional.

Availability to travel for business trips (Europe, Thailand, China, India)
