Job Overview

Position: Associate Specialist – Operational Excellence

Location: Borgo San Michele – Latina, Italy

Contract: 12‑month fixed term

Purpose

As an Operational Excellence Associate Specialist, you will join a dynamic team focused on improving operational performance through Lean methodologies, data analytics, digital transformation initiatives and the sharing of an excellence culture.

Responsibilities

- Analyze and interpret data to support business decisions and performance improvements.
- Develop and apply statistical models and analytical tools to identify opportunities and make improvements visible.
- Support Lean manufacturing practices, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives across the site.
- Design and participate in structured site‑performance management systems (scorecard, dashboard, KPI and root‑cause problem‑solving).
- Collaborate with local and global stakeholders in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
- Support the adoption of data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement practices.

Key Experience and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Scientific Disciplines, or a related field.
- Analytical mindset with interest in data‑driven decision‑making.




- Knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and analytical models.
- Understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) concepts.
- Understanding of Lean methodologies and Continuous Improvement principles.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
- English proficiency at B1 level or above.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing environments.
- Basic understanding of GMP requirements.
- Experience with SAP, SQL, Power BI or similar analytics platforms.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay Range: €29,800.00 – €48,530.00 (dependent on pay grade and location)
