Account Manager
A Japanese company is currently recruiting an Account Manager for their Northern Milan office.
Responsibilities
- Focus on two key pillars: driving sales through leisure and trade partners, and supporting corporate sales initiatives within the EMEA framework.
- Pillar 1: Sales Representative – Italy & other regions (Germany, Austria, Poland)
- Identify and prospect potential partners in Italy and the other regions.
- Maintain strong relationships with leisure-focused partners to increase market share.
- Negotiate and finalise service agreements, commission structures, and performance metrics.
- Manage group bookings, allocations, and pricing structures; serve as the dedicated point of contact for Italian trade partners.
- Collaborate with pricing and marketing teams to develop tailored offerings and special packages for the leisure segment.
- Pillar 2: Corporate Sales
- Identify potential corporate partners in Italy that would agevolazioni from the global network.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate accounts, ensuring policies align with services and acting as the main point of contact.
- Negotiate corporate pricing structures and service agreements for long‑term loyalty.
- Attend industry events, conferences and trade shows to build relationships and promote products.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations highlighting product and sustainability (ESG) efforts.
- Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, forecasts, and market insights within CRM.
- Monitor competitor activities in the Italian and German, Austrian, and Polish markets, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with Marketing, Inside Sales, and Operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, security requirements and compliance with travel policies.
- Manage budgets and financial aspects related to assigned portfolios to meet revenue and profitability targets.
- Occasional travel may be required to meet clients, attend events, trainings and famtrips.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional sales experience in the airline or travel industry (Italy market experience highly preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Germany, Austria, and Poland.
- Fluency in Italian and English (business level).
- Knowledge of GDS/reservation systems and Salesforce CRM; ability to work with MS Office.
- Goal‑oriented, self‑motivated, and culturally sensitive.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information
Work type: Office‑based
Work hours: 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Salary: around €2,000 per month, depending on experience.
Start date: Around May 2026.
Location: Northern Milan, Italy.
