Job Description We are looking for Io T Associate Engineer to join the Digital Engineering Team responsible for supporting local factories in finalizing the implementation of new IIo T solutions or new digital architecture for manufacturing equipment. In this role, you will act as a project technical coordinator to perform below activities; a set of technical competencies and strong communication skills are crucial for interacting with stakeholders and coordinating with external teams. Job Responsibilities Support in delivery and deployment of key digital engineering projects; Execution of OEM deliverables; Verification of manufacturing equipment during FAST and CAT against digital URS; Support machine integration to existing IT systems for manufacturing; Follow‑up on affiliate readiness in terms of knowledge and infrastructure; Follow‑up on IIo T Gateway delivery from order through configuration to installation on the shop floor; Support affiliate in installation, commissioning and IOQ activities upon new IIo T project delivery. Job Requirements A university degree in Computer Science and Engineering is essential; a master’s degree in Automation, Prototyping or Robotics is highly desirable. Hands‑on experience with machine‑to‑machine and machine‑to‑system communication; Experience with IIo T solutions and vendor management; Familiarity with OPC Unified Architecture, IT and OT networks,
OT Cybersecurity and Computerized System Validation; Experience with OPC UA tools, MQTT Explorer, Grafana, Jira, Confluence, Remote Desktop and M365; Experience with SCRUM, Agile methodology and project management skills is advantageous; Soft skills: communication and the ability to manage your own agenda with minimal supervision; Languages skills: excellent verbal and written English. Work Conditions Working hours: 40 working hours per week; Contract type: Permanent; Working setup: Hybrid – 1/2 days from home. What We Offer Salary starting at 30 000 EUR gross per year, depending on seniority level. Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) applied: Terziario Commercio.
