ppYou will serve as a PHYSICAL SCIENTIST in the Enviromental Business Line of NAVAL FAC ENGR CMD EUROPE SW ASIA Italy.
/ppIn addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: /polliEnsuring command compliance to federal, state, and local environmental planning protection regulations, policies and procedures; /liliManaging environmental projects and programs to support and sustain the commands environmental missions and multi-media environmental compliance on specific functions (i.e. drinking water, wastewater, hazardous material, pollution, air, etc.); /liliDeveloping alternative processes and procedures for deficiencies identified during environmental inspections; /liliAssessing the impact of conditions and actions on public safety, ecology,



and environment involving matters directly or closely related to public welfare and protection.
; /liliUnderstanding the organization's financial processes/systems in regard to planning, programming, budgeting and execution of the environmental programs.
Also prepares and justifies EV funded projects as part of the environmental program budget.
