In this role you will act as the Italian reference for Hermès’ Purchasing and Materials Quality teams, ensuring supplier materials meet internal standards. You will collaborate with suppliers and external control bodies to align quality requirements, manage quality alerts, and support supplier development. You will contribute to the deployment of quality standards, traceability, and CSR actions, while coordinating with cross-functional Métiers teams across Italy and France. Frequent travel supports hands‑on field assessment and continuous improvements.
Retribuzione / Benefits

Verify material compliance at tier‑1 (and tier‑2 when needed) against industrialization standards and general specs.
Participate in supplier quality inspections and validate initial production batches as required.
Assess supplier alignment with internal QC requirements and develop their competencies using R&R; methodologies.




Serve as the primary contact for external inspection centers and manage conformity doubts and decisions.
Coordinate corrective actions and monitor progress with Purchasing and Quality teams.
Support quality incident management, including waivers, non‑conformities, and traceability.
Assist in remediation operations and validate conformity prior to re‑delivery.
Validate deviations from standards and formalize decisions with internal teams.
Responsabilità

Engineering degree or equivalent.
Significant experience in material quality control, preferably in textiles.
Proven problem‑solving skills and knowledge of luxury textile quality requirements.
Strong ability to share knowledge and support stakeholder development.
Autonomy, responsiveness, and strong organizational skills. xlwpduy
Fluent Italian and French or English.
