We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with hands-on insurance-sector knowledge to join an international software environment supporting insurance clients across multiple countries.

This is not a purely technical, PMO or test-management role. The successful candidate will have practical experience analysing insurance processes, working directly with clients and supporting the full delivery lifecycle from requirement discovery through solution definition, development support, testing and production release.
The role
You will act as the link between insurance clients and software-development teams, taking ownership of the functional analysis process.
You will:
Lead client workshops to understand, challenge and document business requirements.
Analyse current insurance processes and define clear target solutions.
Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with developers and technical teams to assess solution feasibility.
Support backlog refinement, development, testing, defect resolution and release readiness.
Validate that the delivered solution meets the original business requirement.
Produce clear functional documentation and maintain traceability throughout the project.
Participate directly in meetings with international clients in English.
Support end-to-end insurance processes across policy administration and servicing.
At least three years' experience as a Business Analyst within insurance software or insurance IT.
Practical knowledge of at least one insurance business area, such as:
Life insurance;
pensions;
creditor insurance;
property and casualty;
policy administration;
claims;
policy servicing and post-sales processes.
Direct experience of the end-to-end policy lifecycle, not only controls, testing, releases or isolated system changes.
Strong requirements-gathering and functional-analysis experience, including direct interaction with insurance clients.
Ability to explain the complete delivery process from initial requirement through production release.
Experience writing functional specifications, user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria.
Regular use of Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog and requirement management.
Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.
Professional fluency in English and Italian, including experience leading or actively participating in client meetings in English.
Strong advantage
Experience with insurance policy-administration platforms.
Knowledge of PASS or comparable insurance core systems.
Experience across both front-end and back-end insurance processes. xlwpduy
