Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join ourMedical Surgical unit. Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager,the RN will provide high-quality, direct patient care, ensuring acomprehensive approach to nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, intervention, evaluation,and coordination of care for patients and their families across thehealthcare continuum.
- Ensure accountability for clinical, educational, quality, and fiscalpatient care outcomes by utilizing the nursing model of care and adhering toestablished agency policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines, and standardsof practice.
- Collaborate effectively with various members of the healthcare team,patients, and families to facilitate communication and ensure optimal patientoutcomes.
- Maintain organized workflows by setting priorities and efficientlycompleting assigned tasks.
- Report directly to the unit Nurse Manager regarding patient care and unitoperations.

Required Qualifications:





- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within thepast 2 years.
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to access, enter, andinterpret computerized data/information.
- Effective interpersonal skills for communicating with diverse members ofthe healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and complete workefficiently.

Education:

- Graduate from an accredited nursing school with an Associate's or Bachelorof Science degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).

Certification & License:

- Licensed to practice professional nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) and AdvancedCardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
