Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead Italy's country-level public policy and government affairs strategy for the medical technology sector. You'll act as the senior policy interface, shaping a favorable healthcare environment that supports patient access, innovation, and system resilience. You will engage with policymakers and stakeholders and align national priorities with European frameworks. This is a strategic, executive-facing position in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting with a strong emphasis on collaboration and impact. Retribuzione / Benefits Define and lead the country policy and government affairs strategy aligned with sector priorities Monitor legislative and political developments affecting medical technologies and procurement policies Translate policy developments into strategic insights for senior leadership Provide thought leadership on topics like healthcare reform, value-based care, sustainability,
and digital health Engage with national and regional policymakers as the primary senior interface Build long-term relationships with policy makers and external stakeholders Represent the sector in high‐impact policy debates and negotiations Lead engagement with trade associations and coalitions Align national positions with European frameworks for a coherent Med Tech voice Serve as strategic advisor to country and regional leadership on public policy matters Drive cross-functional collaboration with Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Communications, Legal, and Commercial teams Ensure alignment between public policy priorities and broader business and innovation strategies Responsabilità 8+ years of government affairs or relevant experience in Italy Deep knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes and political environment in Italy Ability to engage government stakeholders and build relationships Good understanding of European policy making and Italian trade relationships desirable Experience influencing policy matter
