Role Overview
The Generative AI Supervisor is a senior‑level role responsible for supervising day‑to‑day AI production activities, guiding artists, and ensuring the highest standards of quality across AI‑driven projects, and may require shot/key shot compositing based on any given project’s needs. Reporting directly to the AI Producer, this person plays a hands‑on leadership role within the department, combining deep VFX compositing expertise with practical Generative AI knowledge to deliver innovative, production‑ready results. This role is ideal for a seasoned compositor who has developed a strong working knowledge of Generative AI tools and is ready to take on supervisory responsibility in a fast‑paced, internationally collaborative studio environment.
Key Responsibilities




Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and mentor a team of AI artists and compositors, providing both creative and technical direction on a daily basis
- Review and approve AI‑generated and composited output to ensure it meets project and studio quality standards
- Work closely with the Head of AI to execute departmental priorities, timelines, and objectives
- Serve as a key point of contact between the AI department and Producers, VFX Supervisors, and other department heads

Production and Workflow
- Oversee the integration of AI‑generated assets into VFX, advertising, and audiovisual content pipelines
- Collaborate with pipeline and technical teams to implement and refine Generative AI workflows within existing production infrastructure
- Monitor project schedules, flag risks, and help the team adapt efficiently to changing production requirements
- Maintain and enforce best practices for compositing
