Experteer Overview In this role you join McKinsey's Operations Practice through the two-year Operations Excellence Program to tackle high-impact client challenges. You will work on problem solving, analyses, and recommendations across client engagements, guided by on-the-job coaching and a formal capability-building curriculum. The program blends strategic thinking with practical execution, helping you develop leading operations and consultancy skills. You will join a diverse, global team that values ethics, ideas, and hands-on impact, with strong mentorship and learning opportunities as you grow into leadership.
Responsibilities Identify issues and form hypotheses for client problems
Design and conduct analyses and synthesize conclusions into actionable recommendations
Contribute to problem solving across client engagements
Engage in on-the-job coaching and structured capability-building programs
Participate in functional training across manufacturing, product development, purchasing, service operations,



supply chain management, or capital excellence
Collaborate with colleagues and clients across multiple industries to enable operational excellence
Qualifications Master's degree
Initial experience in strategic purchasing and/or supply management (e.g., global sourcing strategies, cross-functional category management, RfQ processes and negotiations)
Proven leadership in work or extracurricular activities
Mobility and willingness for European assignments during the work week
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Strong written and spoken communication in English and local office language
