Overview Experteer OverviewIn this role you will design mechanical components and assemblies for precision agriculture, manage PDM governance and documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve design quality and data reliability. You'll contribute to standardization efforts and optimize product workflows within a dynamic R&D; environment. The position offers hands-on design work plus governance of data and processes that drive product release efficiency. This role provides an impactful opportunity to shape component design, documentation quality, and engineering data management at Nordson Precision Agriculture.
Retribuzione / Benefits Design mechanical components, assemblies and sub-assemblies
Create and update 3D models, drawings, BOMs and technical documentation
Ensure proper governance of the PDM system (workflows, codifications, revisions, data structure)
Support standardization of components, modules and design methodologies




Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth release of product documentation
Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within R&D;
Responsabilità Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical background)
Solid knowledge of plastic parts, sheet metal components and turned/machined parts
Strong knowledge of CAD modeling and assembly design
Experience with PDM systems, including data management and governance
Good understanding of technical documentation, BOM management and revision control
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Familiarity with PLM systems is a plus
Proficient in Italian and basic (or intermediate) English level
