You join a system‑level core team and liaise with agencies and customers to translate high‑level requirements into feasible mechanical solutions. You’ll work on metallic and composite structures, with an emphasis on manufacturability, integration and verification. This role offers impact across spacecraft platforms, from design to qualification, within a collaborative, cross‑functional environment. Retribuzione / Benefits Define mechanical/structural requirements from customer inputs Support concept studies with System Engineering to inform architecture choices Define mechanical architecture and perform design/analysis activities Develop and run FEM‑based and simple analyses to support sizing decisions Prepare procurement specifications for structures and subsystems Technical follow‑up of structures procurement and subcontractor management Support manufacturing process qualification for mechanical hardware Assist hardware integration and testing activities Contribute to test plans and specifications for mechanical tests Support Quality Assurance in NCR discussion affecting mechanical parts Participate in internal and external reviews and meetings Responsabilità At least five years of relevant space experience Experience managing subcontractors technically and programmatically Leadership experience of a technical team Knowledge of structural requirements for space hardware (satellites, modules, re‑entry vehicles) Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for structures Experience with mechanical analysis tools such as NASTRAN and FEMAP (preferred) Hand calculation skills and engineering judgment Knowledge of fracture mechanics and fatigue (preferred) Strong teamwork, problem solving and communication skills Proficiency in English (spoken and written) Ability to work in shifts if required #J-18808-Ljbffr
