Experteer Overview

As a Mechanical CAD Designer you will contribute to hardware engineering for space systems, focusing on mechanical design, analysis, and manufacturability. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment to translate requirements into robust mechanical solutions that meet cost and schedule targets. You’ll collaborate with production and procurement to optimize designs and support qualification and testing activities. This is a hands‑on role at the intersection of design, simulation, and verification within a leading space company.

- Perform hardware engineering tasks in Mechanical Engineering, including studies, simulations, models, and prototypes
- Describe mechanical functions, requirements and development plan
- Prepare data packages for production
- Collaborate with production and procurement to deliver cost‑effective, manufacturable designs
- Monitor and organize mechanical activities to track technical progress




- Propose technical and methodological choices aligned with the mechanical architecture
- Ensure designs meet target costs and lead times
- Support qualification and testing activities (shocks, vibrations) and design optimization

Responsabilità

- Significant experience in hardware development and mechanical engineering
- Strong team player in a multidisciplinary environment
- Customer‑oriented mindset with awareness of organizational goals
- Rigorous, analytical, and able to justify design decisions
- Knowledge of mechanical laws, standards and norms
- Proficiency with multiple CAD tools and mechanical simulation software as listed below
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects to meet deadlines
