Overview

As Accounting Manager you will lead the accounting operations to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and strict governance. You will partner with Finance leadership and cross‑functional teams to support decisions, drive process improvement, and strengthen internal controls. The role blends operational excellence with regulatory compliance in a luxury retail setting. You will shape the close process, audit responses, and financial planning to sustain performance and growth.

Responsibilities

- Oversee accounting activities across AP, AR, inventory, intercompany, reconciliations, journal entries, and period-end close
- Ensure accurate recognition of revenues, expenses, accruals, and provisions per standards and policy
- Drive automation and efficiency in accounting processes
- Maintain integrity of financial records through governance and disciplined processes
- Provide financial analysis, variance reporting, and performance commentary for executives
- Collaborate with FP&A; and business leads on budgeting,



forecasting, and planning
- Support strategic initiatives with reliable data, projections, and insights
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Design and strengthen internal controls; coordinate internal and external audits and corrective actions
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team; promote operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Contribute to finance function evolution through process optimization and digitalization

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 10 years in a similar management role within an international group (luxury retail preferred)
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and team management experience
