Experteer Overview

In this role you will manage Finance and Accounting activities for Avnet's French entities within a fast-paced, international setting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide to ensure accurate financial records and compliant reporting, supporting cash management, VAT, and month-end close. The position offers exposure to SAP and Excel, with opportunities to optimize processes and controls. You will engage with auditors and tax consultants to resolve accounting issues and contribute to continuous improvement. This role appeals to a detail-oriented problem-solver keen to influence finance operations across a global business.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Monitor day-to-day financial operations for the French entities
- Oversee automated processes for sales, purchases, AR, AP
- Handle non-trade payables and prime entries
- Cash management and reporting; support payment preparation
- Maintain and review financial records (Fixed Assets Ledger, payroll postings, month-end close accruals)
- Perform intercompany and bank reconciliations




- Ensure integrity of accounting information and transaction recording
- Manage VAT returns and liaise with tax/legal consultants for compliance
- Interact with auditors to resolve accounting issues
- Continuous improvement of processes and controls
- Support on ad hoc projects and tool enhancement

Responsabilità

- Proven experience in Finance and Accounting roles
- Fluent in English, Italian, and French
- Minimum 4 years in general and tax accounting
- Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting standards
- High attention to detail, reliability, curiosity
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Advanced Excel and SAP proficiency
- Familiarity with French GAAP and regulations advantageous
