The Specialist EHS supports the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of the Construction EHS Plan on site.

The role is predominantly field-based, with a strong on-site presence, ensuring that construction activities are executed in compliance with Exyte, client, and applicable regulatory EHS requirements, while actively promoting a safe and incident-free workplace.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

- Perform site safety supervision through regular inspections and walkthroughs to identify unsafe conditions and behaviours
- Monitor construction activities and ensure corrective actions from inspections, audits, and EHS meetings are implemented
- Provide on‑site EHS guidance and support to Construction Managers, Supervisors, and workers
- Verify the implementation and adequacy of RAMS, Safe Plans of Action (SPA/LMRA), and work permits where required
- Monitor site infrastructure (escape routes, emergency routes, traffic management, lighting) and report deficiencies
- Escalate unsafe situations immediately and support emergency response and Incident Free Workplace (IFW) initiatives
- Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, engagement,



and daily interaction with project teams
- Support EHS reporting, documentation, and compliance monitoring activities on site

Show your expertise

- Degree (Bac +2 or equivalent) in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of construction site experience in an EHS role
- Good knowledge of construction site safety practices, risk assessment, and hazard identification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence working on site and engaging with multidisciplinary teams
- Computer literacy for EHS monitoring, reporting, and documentation
- Fluent Italian (C1 level minimum) and English (B2 level minimum)
- EHS certifications and trainings (First Aid, Working at Height, Scaffolding, Fire Safety, etc.) are considered an asset

The salary range for this position is between € 35'500 and € 43'800 gross per year (full-time). The exact salary will be determined within this range based on objective and transparent criteria, including role scope, qualifications, and relevant professional experience.
