Experteer Overview

As Laboratory Team Leader you will oversee formulation and analytical activities under GMP, guiding a team of analysts in advanced testing for product development, stability, and method validation. You coordinate testing schedules, tackle complex analytical challenges, and ensure high-quality results for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. You’ll lead method development, validation, and transfer while partnering with internal teams and clients in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and oversee formulation and analytical activities under GMP
- Lead a team of analysts and guide analytical work
- Support product development, stability testing, and method validation
- Manage laboratory operations and testing schedules
- Resolve complex analytical challenges and ensure test quality
- Work with advanced instrumentation to test materials and products
- Lead method development, validation, and transfer activities
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients

Requirements

- Advanced Degree with no experience required,



or Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years in pharma/biotech
- Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Biology/ Biotechnology/ Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
- Expertise in HPLC, GC, FT-IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy
- Proven method development, validation, and transfer experience
- Strong GMP knowledge and pharmaceutical quality systems
- Experience with LIMS and Empower software
- Leadership and team management experience
- Project management and organizational skills
- Problem-solving and analytical troubleshooting abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office
- English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with clients and cross-functional teams
- Experience in laboratory investigations and OOS investigations
- Know-ledge of data integrity principles (ALCOA)
- Ability to prepare and review technical documentation and reports
- Physical ability to perform laboratory work and stand for extended periods
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
