Operations Specialist - Freight Forwarding & Logistics Industry
Salary
Euro 30,000 – Euro 39,000 per annum
Job profile
A Japanese global freight forwarding company are looking for an Operations Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Shipment Coordination: Handle daily bookings and track import/export shipments across Sea, Air, and Road freight.
Documentation: Prepare and verify essential shipping documents, including B/L, AWB, and commercial invoices.
Liaison: Negotiate rates and schedules with transport providers while providing real‐time status updates to clients.
Requirements
Industry Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands‐on experience in Freight Forwarding operations.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Incoterms and international shipping procedures.
Languages:



Fluency in Italian and English is essential. Japanese language skills are a strong plus.
Employment Conditions
Working Hours: 08:30–17:30 (including 1‐hour lunch break); Monday only 1 hour less, that is 08:30–16:30.
Holidays: In line with industry standards in Milan (the same as their employees at the Milan office).
Work Arrangement: Full‐time, On‐site attendance required.
