Risk Consulting is looking for candidates as Asset Valuation Consultants to join our Forensic Accounting and Claims Services (FACS) based in Milan . Risk Consulting is a management consulting firm that provides risk management services as part of Marsh Risk , a leader in insurance brokerage and head of the international Marsh Group , a group of expertise in strategic and management consulting, reinsurance, human capital, and investments ( Oliver Wyman, Guy Carpenter, Mercer ).
The Forensic Accounting and Claims Services (FACS) area provides insurance loss‐adjusting advisory services on behalf of clients, with the aim of determining the damage incurred and ensuring the correct indemnity payable by insurers. In addition, it supports the accurate valuation of assets, making a tangible contribution to risk management and strategic decision‐making.
Responsibilities
Understanding client needs, initiating data collection and preliminary analysis, and preparing an appropriate commercial proposal.
Collecting, validating,



and structuring large data sets for real estate and asset valuation.
Conducting site inspections of assets to be valued, gathering the necessary evidence and information.
Estimating the value of buildings, plants, machinery, and equipment for insurance purposes (replacement cost, new replacement value, current value) and for tax purposes (market value, fair value, etc.).
Preparing accurate, verifiable, and unbiased valuation reports in line with industry standards and professional best practices.
Preparing and presenting structured, clear, and usable valuation reports for insurance, accounting, and legal purposes.
Managing and developing client relationships, providing specialized technical support for their risk management strategies.
Working independently and as part of project teams, meeting project deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
