Responsibilities
This role reports to: Chapter Lead. In this role, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and team empowerment to deliver value to customers and stakeholders. You will guide agile teams and facilitate collaboration using agile methodologies, servant leadership, facilitation, and coaching skills. You will also showcase your expertise by fostering effective team dynamics, building agile maturity, and helping the team deliver their best work.
Work model for the role: Lavoro da remoto – Hybrid.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Working with two teams in parallel, providing guidance on the application of agile values, principles and practices to deliver high-quality products and services to customers.
- Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the Scrum framework, Scaled Agile methods and that teams adhere to the Scrum mindset, practice, and guidelines.
- Elevating the team to a high‑performing level by identifying areas of strength and improvement.
- Facilitating team‑level Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily Scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective, ensuring active and valuable team engagement.
- Coaching, inspiring, training and mentoring teams and promoting positive team dynamics to ensure that team members collaborate effectively within the team, with their customers and stakeholders.
- Working closely with Product Owners to help manage product backlogs and ensure clear communication of the development goals.
- Removing impediments and blockers that may hinder the team’s progress, ensuring the team can work without interruptions.
- Promoting a collaborative team environment and encouraging discussions and decision‑making within the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above (this position is not embedded in the IT environment; we are open for profiles with different backgrounds such as psychology, social science, business administration, economics, etc.).
You have more than 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
You are motivated to work in an Agile, dynamic workplace and cross‑functional team.
You have experience in leading people with the ability to earn trust while challenging the team to improve and operate outside its comfort zone.
You possess outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
Ability to promote positive team dynamics and collaboration within the team and other teams.
Risk management and conflict resolution skills.
You communicate in Italian and English as a working language.
- Nice to have: Manufacturing industry background with hardware/equipment development.
- Nice to have: CSM, CSP‑SM, PMI‑ACP, ICAgile‑ATF, ICAgile‑ACC certification.
