Social Media Manager — Fulvio De Bonis, The Art Insider

Full-time position — Freelance - "Partita Iva"

Location: Rome

We're looking for the person who will give the character a shape.

Who we’re talking about. Fulvio De Bonis is an art historian and the founder of Imago Artis Travel, the company that designs private journeys in Italy for people who could go anywhere and choose us. On his own profile he becomes The Art Insider: the one who takes you where you don’t normally get in — a museum after closing, a private residence — and makes you laugh while he tells you about it.

Art, culture, lifestyle. A deep connoisseur who never makes you feel it. Luxury, in his hands, is light: ironic, elegant, never reverent.

What you’ll do . The Art Insider is, for now, an intuition. It has to become a precise, recognisable identity: a tone, a rhythm, a point of view that people learn to recognise before they even see the name. You’ll build that identity, together with him.

Channels are Instagram and YouTube .

Technical skills

Video editing and photography, done by you. You shoot on a phone and on a camera, you cut reels that hold, you take and grade your own photos. Premiere, CapCut, Lightroom, or whatever you use: the result is what counts. We’ll watch your work before we read your CV.

Creative, proactive use of AI. Not to write your captions for you. To speed up the edit, explore formats, generate visuals, test an idea in an afternoon instead of a week. We want someone who gets there before we do.

Editorial planning.



You can build a calendar that holds over time, keep it, and recognise when to break it for something worth more.

Reading the insights. You open Instagram and LinkedIn Analytics every week and tell us in plain language what they say: what worked, why, and what changes as a result. Metrics are there to decide with, not to fill a report.

English at C2 level. Spoken and written. The audience is largely international, and so are many of the people you’ll meet.

Copywriting. You write the captions yourself, in Italian and in English, in Fulvio’s voice rather than your own. A few lines, but the right ones.

Qualities we’re looking for

A clear vision. You know where you want to take the profile and you hold it in mind with every piece of content. A character’s identity doesn’t come from one good reel; it’s built over time, one choice after another, with the patience of someone who knows where they’re going. You bring that direction, and you build it with Fulvio.

Taste. The hardest thing to teach and the easiest to recognise: it shows in what you frame, in what you leave out, in when you stop.

Initiative. The ideas come from you.



Nobody here will hand you a list of things to do.

The right measure with people. You’ll find yourself in rooms with people of some standing, often in private settings. It takes the sensitivity to know your place, put everyone at ease, and always know where the camera stops.

Self‑sufficiency in the field. You’ll often be alone, with little time and no chance of a second take. You need to manage.

A plus, not a requirement

A real passion for art and culture. Fulvio is an art historian: if you know what he’s talking about, the work comes out better.

The environment you’ll find. One where eccentric ideas are welcome. We experiment, we move fast, and we back people who try things that might not work. Bring us three absurd ideas a week and we’ll be glad when one of them lands. If you need sign‑off before you move, you’ll find it tight here.

You won’t be doing it alone: the digital marketing team is with you at every step, from planning to reading the results.

How we work . Tempo pieno, based in Rome. After an initial period with a heavier presence, the role becomes hybrid: we’ll still want you in the office regularly, though not every day and not all day. The office is where we meet and trade ideas. After that, we work in whatever way gets the result.
