Job Description
As our global footprint continues to grow, we are looking for an expert in Building and Fire regulations to support our Global Market Access (GMA) team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Building and Fire compliance and providing consultancy on international regulatory issues. As a GMA Knowledge Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with global Building and Fire regulations and standards. You will play a key role in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and implementing solutions that support sustainable business practices. Although the role is based at our Italy offices, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in successfully implementing our Building and Fire Codes strategy internationally, supporting our clients in meeting their sustainability goals and accessing global markets.
Responsibilities
As a UL GMA Knowledge Associate, you will:
Key expert contact for compliance requirements required to access specific countries and/or programs.




Provide point-of-access support to address any local acceptance issues.
Track regulatory trends and communicate upcoming regulatory changes.
Identify business opportunities and translate them in a simple manner to stakeholders from COU.
Coordinate research/studies including multiple products, regulations, countries independently.
Supports actions related to GMA business expansion scope, track opportunity and business results from COUs.
Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Building and Fire Codes
Deep knowledge of the TIC business and the industries in which the business functions.
Able to connect the regulation rules with customer needs and business opportunities.
Natural influencing skills, confident and be able to deliver the message.
Ability to network and build relationship
