University of Trento – Department of Sociology and Social Research invites applications for a six-year position. The post offers an annual gross salary of about €50,000 and a workload of 32 hours per week.
The research focus is general sociology, including the sociology of knowledge and expertise, with emphasis on theory and sociological debates. Teaching will cover sociological theory and the history of sociological thought, in Italian, with English required at an excellent level.
