Join Freshfields' Brussels ACT team to advise clients on competition and trade law in a global, cross‐border context. You will collaborate with cross‐functional teams to address complex mandates, support business development, and contribute to knowledge management. The role involves handling transactions, drafting submissions, and training junior lawyers while managing client relationships. This is a chance to shape high‐stakes competition work in a truly international environment. Relocation to Brussels is required, offering a platform to impact clients and the firm's global practice.
Retribuzione / Benefits Advising clients on competition law and related commercial issues
Drafting/negotiating transaction or other contract documents
Drafting submissions to competition authorities and courts
Managing transactions
Managing client relationships
Active participation in business development and client events




Training and mentoring trainees/junior lawyers
Responsabilità Top‐class academic qualifications; LL.M. preferred
Prior experience or strong interest in competition and trade law
Excellent written and oral communication skills; fluent in English; French an asset
Team player, motivated, solution‐oriented
Capable of handling a high workload and taking responsibility
Proactive and committed to excellent client service
Relocation to Brussels required
