As a Sales Engineer for Proofpoint's Commercial accounts, you act as the trusted technical advisor to Account Managers and Channel Partners, shaping People-Centric security solutions. You will demonstrate Proofpoint's portfolio, run proofs-of-concept, and deliver threat assessments that translate into compelling customer outcomes. Collaborating with sales and channel teams, you translate complex security needs into actionable demonstrations and proposals. This role blends technical mastery with storytelling to influence buying decisions and drive secure outcomes at scale. - Design and champion complex People-Centric Security solutions spanning the Proofpoint portfolio
- Assist in professional services deployments and technical training; present or attend industry events
- Provide customer insights to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering
- Work with Channel team to support Distributors and Resellers
- Become an expert in Email Security, APTs, Attack Protection, Threat Response, DLP and related threat landscape
- Proven hands-on experience as a Sales/Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Security Engineer, or senior product support in cybersecurity
- Experience in secure messaging, data security, network security, endpoint, NOC/SOC, or MSP-related cybersecurity
- Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Fluent Italian and business-level English
