About the role
Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.
We’re looking for a Model Risk Manager who is passionate about data and analytics to apply ML/AI techniques across a variety of business areas. You’ll challenge existing modelling processes, elevate them to new standards, and support growth while ensuring models drive business decisions, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing senior management and the local risk and compliance committee with regular insights on material models
- Identifying improvements to modelling processes and methodologies, and assigning reliable model risk ratings
- Providing recommendations to model developers to keep incidences of adverse outcomes within our risk appetite
- Embedding model risk management practices across the full model lifecycle
- Enhancing senior management’s understanding of model assumptions, limitations, and outputs through multiple communication channels
What you’ll need
- 5+ years of experience in validating models in at least one of the following areas: credit, liquidity, treasury, stress testing, FinCrime, and/or AI/ML
- Experience using Python and SQL
- Familiarity with model risk management regulations across the EU, UK, and US
- A proven ability to defend model validation reports in front of senior stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience in banking or financial services, handling model risk findings with regulators and collaborating with internal audit teams
- Knowledge of AI/ML model governance, explainability, or advanced analytics in financial services
- Familiarity with cloud-based model deployment or monitoring solutions
Compensation range
- Italy: €62,100 - €69,000 gross annually*
- Poland: PLN26,900 - PLN31,600 gross monthly*
- Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process
*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
