Experteer Overview As a Quality Supplier Development Engineer, you will own the process quality output of external suppliers and drive APQP-based development and qualification of new products and processes. You will monitor supplier performance, lead on-site audits, and implement improvement plans to ensure supplier capability across assigned commodities. You will support plants in resolving quality issues and work with global sourcing to strengthen supplier quality and growth. This role offers impact across global supplier networks and contributes to safer, high-performance braking systems.
Retribuzione / Benefits Qualify new suppliers and support global sourcing strategies
Apply APQP for supplier development of new products/processes
Analyze supplier performance and define improvement/growth plans
Support Plant Quality in claim management and escalation
Conduct on-site supplier process audits and verify QMS compliance
Monitor supplier quality indicators and publish global dashboards




Ensure continuous improvement and escalation as required
Develop suppliers' quality systems to meet required standards
Responsabilità Bachelor's degree in engineering
8-12 years in supplier quality engineering or similar in manufacturing (Automotive preferred)
Automotive Tier-1 experience and knowledge of IATF standards desirable
Strong knowledge of quality tools (8D, Ishikawa, problem solving, Control Plan, FMEA, SPC) and IATF16949
Experience with pressure die casting, gravity die casting, plastics, rubber, stamping, machining and forging desirable
Willingness to travel frequently to support suppliers in Asia and related regions
Proficient in English (spoken and written)
Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving and good teamwork/communication
