Job Description

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self‑motivated Software Engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks. The developments cover the railways applications. The position is based in Genoa, IT .

Responsibilities

- Detailed requirements definition for software components / systems
- Design and implementation of software components
- Verification and testing of developed software
- Release and support of delivered software components

Required Skills/ Knowledge

- Knowledge of software development methodologies (agile methodologies, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, DevOps, …)
- Object Oriented Design and Programming
- Knowledge of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, C/C++, Java, RUST
- Knowledge of Linux operating system
- From 3 up to 5 years of experience

Desired Skills/ Knowledge

- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, Oracle,



Redis, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of containeirization technologies, specifically Docker
- Knowledge of Railway Traffic Management domain
- Ability to work in a team environment

Education/Qualifications

- Master’s degree / bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Computer Science)

Languages

- Good Knowledge of English (written & spoken)

Retribuzione annua lorda compresa tra 35.000€ e 46.200€.

Alla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B2, ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale.
