For our HQ in Italy, we're looking for a Director Purchasing Italy.
This role reports into the VP Italy and has the main objective of continuously improving our customer experience, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Responsibilities
Execute the strategy and growth plan for AUTO1's Italy Consumer business units (C2B).
Monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing C2B unit with around 200 employees and 65+ branches.
Ensure recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and personal development of top talent in all Consumer Purchasing business units.
Support the leadership team in defining strategic plans and executing them effectively.
Develop a team of Regional and Vice Regional Area Managers to help you control the 200 employees across the country.
Lead the Real Estate & Procurement team to expand and maintain the buying infrastructure (branches).
Ensure that each branch is safe and complies with local regulations.
Execute and improve key performance indicators to manage efficiency in depth.
Qualifications
7+ years of leadership experience.
Strategy consulting experience is highly valued.
People management experience is key, especially in fast-paced and dynamically changing environments.
Strong operational expertise, with experience in process optimization, operational excellence, and lean office.
Proven track record of personal and professional achievements.
Truly entrepreneurial attitude, driven, restless personality, and a strong desire for growth while always keeping attention to the details.
Exceptional managerial and analytical skills with the ability to work
