Overview Experteer Overview Senior Engine Performance Simulation Engineer needed to advance 1 D reactive flow modelling for ICE technologies. Join a seasoned team delivering consulting solutions to OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, shaping engine performance across SI, Diesel, and alternative fuels. You will build and validate complex models, optimize designs, and contribute to multi-disciplinary projects with a focus on impactful, real-world outcomes. This role offers technical leadership, collaboration with customers, and opportunities to influence product and methodology decisions. Responsibilities Build, calibrate and correlate engine models using GT-SUITE across applications Perform combustion model calibration and validation; turbo-matching analyses; acoustic optimization; design optimization and virtual calibration Develop and adapt CAE methodologies to meet customer needs and propose design solutions Analyze simulation results and provide subject-matter expertise on observed phenomena Author technical reports, workflows,
and training materials Manage projects to ensure timely delivery within budget and supervise allocated resources Collaborate with customers and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve comprehensive solutions Draft technical and economic proposals Qualifications Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or similar) background Strong theoretical knowledge of internal combustion engines 4+ years of GT-SUITE experience (or similar multi-physics tools) Basic knowledge of Matlab/Simulink Proven Python experience is a plus Proficient in Italian and English with strong communication skills Proactive attitude toward continuous learning Benefits attractive salary hybrid work policy (office 3 days per week) opportunity to implement own ideas build professional network across industry dynamic, highly-talented team #J-18808-Ljbffr
