Experteer Overview In this role, you design and validate control systems for complex onshore/offshore projects, aligning with Saipem's mission of safe, sustainable energy delivery. You work within the ENCAR SMAUT team to translate client requirements into robust automation solutions and ensure compliance through FAT/IFAT/SAT testing. You collaborate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to guarantee technical conformity and contribute to bids with accurate planning estimates. This position offers international travel and a path to impact the energy transition through advanced control technologies. Responsibilities Read, analyze, and mechanize P&IDs; develop and review Block Diagrams, Control Narratives, Sequence Flow Charts, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams Populate and maintain Project Control Systems I/Os Databases Interpret and apply codes,



standards and customer design requirements for Control Systems design products Attend and perform Control Systems FAT/IFAT/SAT and witness vendor compliance to project requirements Interact with Client representatives, Vendors, Subcontractors on technical topics and review Vendor FDS Drawings Procedures Manuals for compliance Support proposal efforts with man-hour estimates and planning for bids Qualifications Master's Degree in Automation & Control System Engineering or equivalent minimum 5 years as automation engineer in oil & gas, xrdztoy petrochemical, renewable or floaters sectors English (C1), Italian (C1) Detailed knowledge of Control and Safety Systems (DCS, ESD/SIS, F&G;, PLCs, MMS, CCS, RTU, SCADA) Familiar with Control and Safety Systems codes and standards (domestic and international) SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation) knowledge Benefits / Requisites health insurance internal gym discounts and partnerships in-house cafeteria hybrid working model fl
