NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER – Roma

Through the Digital Services division, we design, build, and maintain innovative solutions in networking, network security, cybersecurity, data centre, technology plants, cloud, and optical WDM transport networks.
Responsibilities
Design and supervise the evolution of security architectures in network and endpoint domains.
Define Zero‐Trust architectures and micro‐segmentation protection strategies.
Execute Proof of Concept (PoC) and analyze client objectives or needs.
Produce and validate project documentation, HLD, LLD, and operational procedures (Migration Procedures – MOP).
Act as technical escalation point for troubleshooting, guiding and coordinating junior resources throughout project lifecycles.
Serve as technical liaison to clients and internally to support pre‐sales phases.
Essential Requirements




University diploma (triennial) or 3‐5+ years of experience implementing or managing cybersecurity or network security solutions.
Active professional‐level certifications in network security (CCNP Security, Juniper NetSec, Fortinet NSE, PaloAlto).
Strong knowledge of security architecture, methodologies, protocols, and IP networking.
Proficiency in cryptography concepts, stateful inspection, proxying, access control, and identity management (vendor‐agnostic).
Ability to document architectures, flows, and procedures.
Preferred (Non‐Mandatory) Requirements
CCNP Security or F5 Network Administrator credentials, currently valid.
Experience with automation or API testing tools (e.g., Ansible, Postman) and offensive testing tools.
Strong oral and written communication skills for client interaction and project presentation.
Knowledge of project management methodologies or ITIL framework.
