Pharma Point, on behalf of Cytokinetics, is looking for a Therapeutic Medical Scientist (MSL) to join the Medical Affairs team in Italy.
Territory: Northern Italy. Preferred location: Lombardy.
Cytokinetics is a late‐stage, specialty cardiovascular biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing and commercialising first‐in‐class muscle activators and next‐in‐class muscle inhibitors for diseases in which cardiac muscle performance is compromised.

Cytokinetics is currently building and expanding its Italian affiliate, offering the opportunity to join the organisation at an important stage of growth.
The Role Reporting to the Associate Medical Director Italy, the Therapeutic Medical Scientist will act as a key field‐based scientific expert across Northern Italy. The role will focus on building high‐quality scientific relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals and specialist cardiology centres,



while supporting the implementation of the local medical strategy in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and the broader cardiovascular area.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high‐quality scientific partnerships with KOLs and HCPs across the assigned territory.
Lead scientific exchange and identify unmet medical needs within cardiovascular disease, with a particular focus on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Act as a scientific expert at congresses, investigator meetings and other relevant scientific events.
Maintain a strong and up‐to‐date understanding of the disease area, clinical data, treatment guidelines and competitive landscape.
Support clinical development activities, including interaction with investigators and involvement in research projects.
Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical, Market Access and Commercial colleagues to support the execution of the medical strategy.
