We are looking to hire a Commissioning Engineer specializing in electromechanical/mechatronic systems for finishing lines in the steel and metals industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys working on complex industrial plants and managing on-site activities through to final delivery.

Frequent travel, including extended international assignments, is required.
Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing the commissioning of finishing lines for bars and tubes (both ferrous and non-ferrous), including equipment such as:
2-roll straightening machines
Multi-roll straightening machines
Inspection and conditioning lines
Peeling machines
Combined coil-to-bar drawing lines
Drawing benches
Chamfering machines
Shears

Abrasive and circular cutting machines
In particular, the role involves:
Acting as Electromechanical / Mechatronic Supervisor from installation through commissioning, final testing, and operator training
Coordinating and technically supporting the automation team during start-up activities
Managing technical and operational issues, working closely with Project Management and Headquarters Engineering Teams
Interfacing directly with the client and commissioning representatives to ensure all activities meet contractual technical specifications
Leading on-site activities to ensure successful plant start-up and performance validation
