Experteer Overview As a Commodity Specialist at Vertiv, you will support strategic sourcing and procurement for assigned categories to ensure material availability, quality, and cost competitiveness. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize suppliers and costs, contributing to supply chain resilience and operational success. You will analyze markets, manage RFQs, and monitor supplier performance to drive value and improvements. This role offers exposure to diverse suppliers and opportunities to influence cost optimization and product changes within a global business.
Retribuzione / Benefits Develop and execute commodity strategies for assigned categories
Conduct supplier research, benchmarking, and market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities
Manage day-to-day supplier communications, including RFQs, price updates, and delivery coordination
Analyze cost structures, evaluate quotations, and assist in negotiation processes




Monitor supplier performance and maintain procurement data in ERP systems
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance on product changes and cost optimization
Assist in cost reduction initiatives, value engineering activities, and continuous improvement projects
Ensure alignment with procurement policies, compliance standards, and internal procedures
Responsabilità 1–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain (internships or junior roles considered)
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
Proficiency with Excel; ERP experience is a plus
Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous
