Experteer Overview As Energy Leader in Italy, you will steer AECOM's energy business, combining market development, client relationships, and technical leadership to accelerate energy transition. You'll work with cross-border Energy Sector teams to grow a portfolio focused on renewables, transmission and storage, and sustainable solutions. You'll shape strategy, lead multidisciplinary teams, and foster a high-performance culture. This role offers impact at scale within a global infrastructure firm. Retribuzione / Benefits Lead and grow the energy business in Italy across the project lifecycle Drive on-time, on-budget project delivery with high-quality results Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (engineering, permitting, environmental) and engage stakeholders Develop and implement a strategy to strengthen presence in the Italian energy market Strengthen internal and external networks, and recruit senior talent Act as trusted advisor to clients, delivering innovative energy and sustainability solutions Manage strategic relationships with utilities, developers, IPPs, investment funds,
and EPC contractors Identify and pursue new business opportunities and prepare technical/economic tender proposals Monitor Italian regulatory landscape and anticipate market opportunities Contribute to positioning AECOM as a leader in energy transition and sustainability Engage in institutional roundtables and international initiatives Promote staff engagement and a positive workplace culture Responsabilità Master's degree in engineering (preferably Energy, Environmental, or Electrical Engineering) and registration with the Order of Engineers At least 10 years of experience in the energy sector Experience in renewable energy production, energy transport and distribution, and storage systems Business development experience including market analysis and client relationship management Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages advantageous In-depth knowledge of the Italian market, in
