Experteer Overview As MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will lead commercial management of MEP packages for a flagship data centre project in Milan. You'll work with project leadership, design and site teams to maintain cost certainty and contract compliance. You'll handle valuations, variations, subcontractor accounts and procurement support in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. Your role shapes commercial outcomes across the MEP scope and supports delivery to client requirements. This is a long-term, Europe-wide hyperscale data centre assignment with a strong emphasis on cost control and risk management. Responsibilities Manage MEP commercial activities across the full project lifecycle Prepare/review valuations, payment applications and variation accounts Administer subcontractor accounts and contractual obligations Support procurement of MEP subcontract packages and suppliers Monitor costs, budgets,



forecasts and commercial reporting Identify/assess/manage commercial risks and opportunities Ensure contract compliance with main contract requirements Collaborate with engineering and site teams to align scope/delivery Support change management, claims and compensation events as needed Liaise with client/consultant teams on commercial matters Contribute to monthly cost reporting and project financial reviews Qualifications / Requirements Proven Quantity Surveyor with strong MEP exposure Experience with main contractors on large-scale industrial or hyperscale data centre projects Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health xrdztoy systems Experience managing subcontractor accounts and complex packages Good knowledge of construction contracts, valuations and cost control Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar Expe
