The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in equipment design, validation, and operation, particularly in precision fermentation at a large scale. As a Fermentation Engineer, you will be pivotal in implementing and operating Arsenale's proprietary bioreactor systems, working closely with our Head of Engineering, Data & AI team, and third-party collaborators. 38 hours total.Role PurposeTo implement and operate Arsenale's proprietary bioreactor systems with expertise in production microbiology and large-scale fermentation, driving precision fermentation excellence from pilot to industrial scale.Your ImpactCollaborating closely with equipment vendors to design, procure, install, and operate upstream and downstream fermentation equipment, preparing and executing bioreactor runsMonitoring and supporting end-to-end workflow execution at the pilot scale, ensuring smooth operations and preparing for large-scale production at our demonstration plantFacilitating tech transfers on a large scale by working closely with clients and our R&D; team to execute fermentation and downstream processes efficientlyUtilising strong microbiology expertise to troubleshoot and innovate complex systems independently within a fast-paced, cross-functional team environmentApplying working knowledge o
