Overview As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Vertiv, you will design, develop, and maintain software for diagnosing and monitoring complex power‐electronic systems. You will collaborate within an international firmware team to deliver robust applications and precise technical specifications. You'll install software at customer sites and provide hands‐on support to resolve issues, contributing to scalable, secure embedded solutions. This role offers meaningful impact in a mission‐driven company focused on powering the future with reliable, connected products. Responsibilities Proficiency in C/C++. Strong OO design and development capability. Experience with QT and QT libraries. Frontend technologies: Java Script, j Query, CSS, HTML. Basic knowledge of security aspects of embedded software. Scripting skills: Python, JSON, bash. Excellent multitask and network programming skills. Professional Linux Embedded/Desktop development including build, debug and scripting tools. Knowledge of data structures and algorithms. Understanding of OS concepts: processes, memory management, file systems. GNU Make/Makefile expertise. Basic virtualization knowledge (qemu/VMware/Virtual Box/Docker).
