Structural Engineer Location: Naples, Italy (Travel throughout Italy and Bahrain as required) Travel: International travel required; company-paid travel and lodging for authorized work assignments Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried Tentative Start Date: September 2026 (Contingent Upon Contract Award) Education & Experience U. S. Citizen required Valid driver's license required Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program Minimum of five (5) years of professional structural engineering experience supporting new construction and renovation projects Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering (Structural) preferred Experience preparing code-compliant structural designs for commercial, industrial, or government facilities Working knowledge of Do D and NAVFAC design criteria, the International Building Code (IBC), ASCE 7, and applicable structural engineering standards Proficiency with structural analysis and design software, Microsoft Office Suite,



and engineering calculation tools Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams Position Overview Futron is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support NAVFAC EURAFCENT planning, design, and construction projects throughout Italy and Bahrain. The Structural Engineer will provide technical engineering support for military construction (MILCON), renovation, demolition, maintenance, and facilities development projects serving the U. S. Navy, Marine Corps, and other Department of Defense customers. This position will work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and government stakeholders to develop safe, code-compliant structural designs that support mission-critical infrastructure.
