As a Software Engineer for Microcontroller Tool Development in our Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team, you work hand‐in‐hand with our customers, enabling them to transform our products into cutting‐edge designs, all while building long‐lasting partnerships that thrive on success. Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role: Design, develop, and maintain Eclipse IDE Plugins (Java) and Visual Studio Code/Theia Extensions in Type Script and Rust Contribute to build infrastructure including Git Lab, CI/CD, and client/server apps Provide technical support to stakeholders to enable effective tool usage and resolve issues Implement tests for the regression testing system in order to maintain a very high level of software quality Create test plans, analyze test results and document software errors in Jira/Gitlab Your Profile Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,
or similar field of studies Relevant working experience as a Software Engineer, ideally designing and maintaining developer tools (Eclipse/Visual Studio Code/Theia extensions) using Type Script, Rust and Java Experience in Java, Type Script, Rust, and object‐oriented programming skills Good knowledge of software design and architectural patterns – ISO/OSI architecture, microservices, UML, Sys ML would be a plus, but not mandatory Familiarity with version control (git) and code management (Bitbucket/Git Lab) Experience with Eclipse IDE, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Git Lab/Git Hub), as well as embedded software development in C and project management tools (Jira/Git Lab/Git Hub) would be a plus, but not mandatory Fluency in English (mandatory) Please send us your CV in English.
